DECAPRIO STARRING IN PACQUIAO FILM? – Is there really a possibility that Hollywood superstar Leonardo DeCaprio would star in a film about Manny Pacquiao’s life?
Recently, the fighting-senator, Manny Pacquiao said that there had been a proposal on the table about a movie himself. During an interview with ABS-CBN, Pacquiao said: “There is a proposal but hindi pa kami seriously na nag-usap ng finality about that topic“.
Furthermore, he said that there isn’t just one movie on the table but three. Along with this, Pacquiao mentioned that his movie, “Freedom Fighters” is one of the movies and would be launched on Netflix.
Additionally, according to a report from Inquirer, among the stars involved in the movie include Rami Malek, best know for his roles in “Mr. Robot” and “Bohemian Rhapsody” and the iconic, Leonardo DiCaprio.
Malik was reportedly cast to play Manny Pacquiao and DiCaprio would play as Coach Freddie Roach, Pacquiao’s boxing coach. Moreover, Pacquiao said that DiCaprio was pitched to him to possibly play Roach. However, he said that Malik was yet to be brought up.
