Hollywood Stars Eyed For Pacquiao Movie “Freedom Fighters”
PACQUIAO MOVIE – The fighting Senator, Manny Pacquiao is set to add another achievement in his belt, this time it’s being a box-office champion.
Although there already are speculations that Pacman would be having a rematch against Floyd Mayweather, nothing has been confirmed. However, his new Hollywood project has been green-lit.
Manny Pacquiao is going to star in the latest Hollywood war film titled, “Freedom Fighters”. The production team behind it is a local company, “Inspire Studios.
Pacquiao’s upcoming movie “Freedom Fighters” is a multimillion-dollar project. He’ll be co-producing the movie with Inspire Studio’s Francis Ho.
The movie wanted to highlight the Bayanihan Spirit of the Filipino people. It also brings light on the sacrificial love of American doctors, nurses, and professors.
Adding to this, the project would also make history as the very first -Hollywood-Philippines movie production made for global release. It is also the biggest budgeted Pinoy-made movie.
According to an article from Inquirer, the Fil-Am producer Francis ho has the following stars on their short-list-.
- Mark Wahlberg
- Jim Caviezel
- Gary Sinise
- Naomi Scott
- Gal Gadot
And of course, talents from the Philippines including Manny Pacquiao and Caesar Montano. The film producer also lauded Pacquiao for memorizing chapters from the Bible word-for-word.
The film “Freedom Fighters”, is based on real-life events taken from the perspective of Lousie Reid Spencer, a WWII Survivor. He wrote a memoir titled, “Guerilla Wife”.
His memoir is about the experiences he had in the Philippines during the time of the Japanese Occupation. The film aims to let the audience see a glimpse inside “Hopevale”, a community established by the Americans.
