Miss Manila Became Subject of Online Bashing
MISS MANILA – Miss Universe Philippines candidate Alexandria Abdon was bashed for allegedly being “rude” to Hipon Girl Herlene.
After the search for Miss Universe Philippines 2020, Miss Manila Alexandria Abdon won the hearts of many by keeping it real in the beauty pageant. She proved to the people that winning is not just about the crown.
The 25-year-old beauty queen became an instant viral sensation on all social media sites after giving a relatable and authentic response during the preliminary interview. The tides turned after Hipon Girl Herlene shared her encounter with her during an event of Frontrow.
Wowowin host Willie Revillame then invited Miss Manila to make an appearance on their show and to share her side. Unfortunately, she failed to show up on the Kapuso variety show.
According to her, she had a prior commitment and was in Tagaytay with her boyfriend that time. She apologized to the veteran host and also came face to face with Herlene.

The video of Miss Manila and Herlene’s heated conversation went viral on social media. The two are now among the trending topics on Twitter. The beauty queen received criticism from the netizens for her “offensive jokes” to the tv host.
