Biden Officially Wins Over Trump Via Electoral College Votes
BIDEN OFFICIALLY WINS ELECTORAL – Over a month after the release of the Nov 3. Election results, Democrat Joe Biden officially won the state-by-state electoral college votes.
With this, current President Donald Trump and his attempts to overturn the election results should come to a close. Recently, California cemented their 55 electoral votes to Biden on Monday afternoon. As such, Biden held over 270 electoral votes, more than enough to secure his seat at the White House.
Based on November’s polls, Biden had secured 306 electoral votes while Trump had 232. Furthermore, this draws an end to Trump’s relentless claims of voter fraud across the nation.
Previously, Trump and his camp filed lawsuit after lawsuit to try and overturn election results. Unfortunately, his camp failed to provide enough evidence to back their claims.
Meanwhile, in a bid to turn tides in his favor, Trump urged Republican legislators to appoint their own electors. However, lawmakers swiftly dismissed the idea.
Following this, a report from ABS-CBN said Biden planned a prime-time address at 7:30 p.m. E.T. on Monday. Furthermore, the projected U.S. President said he wants to call on Americans to “Turn the Page” on Trump’s America. “In this battle for the soul of America, democracy prevailed”, he added.
