Pennsylvania Court Decides on Legal Challenge by the Supporters of U.S. Pres. Trump Over the Election Results

TRUMP – The Supreme Court in Pennsylvania decided on the legal challenge filed by the supporters of the United States President over the recent election.

Before the year 2020 ended, the United States had its election and its current president, U.S. Pres. Donald Trump, ran for re-election. Prior to the voting, the Chief Executive tested positive for COVID-19.

The United States is the country with the highest cases of the disease. Their health department has already recorded over 13 million cases including 270,000 deaths and 8 million recoveries.

The U.S. President has always been vocal about blaming China over the COVID-19 pandemic. He wants the Chinese nation to pay for it.

After testing positive for the disease, the U.S. President was treated shortly in the hospital and he went out to return to the White House. He was also very determined to push through his campaign as the election was fast approaching then.

The re-election of the current Chief Executive was challenged by former U.S. Vice President Joe Biden. It was a close race between the two politicians and the result to Biden being elected as president.

Undeniably, U.S. Pres. Donald Trump is not convinced of the election results. His supporters feel the same. The people supporting the Chief Executive filed a legal challenge in the Supreme Court in Pennsylvania pertaining to the mail-in ballots.

Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the U.S. state of Pennsylvania Supreme Court has already decided on the legal challenge filed by Pres. Trump’s supporters. It junked the legal challenge.

The Court’s decision was unanimous. It stressed that the law allowing the universal mail-in voting is not in adherence to its constitution. The state has already certified the victory of Biden last November 24.
