PAGASA – TEFS To Bring Scattered Rains This December 14, 2020

PAGASA – Here are the following latest updates from the state weather bureau PAGASA, on this day December 12, 2020 (Monday).

The 4 AM forecast from the state weather bureau says that the tail-end of a frontal system will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and isolated thunderstorms over the Cordillera Administrative Region and the rest of Cagayan Valley.

The bureau warned that flash floods or landslides may occur during moderate to heavy rains.

Batanes and Babuyan Islands will face cloudy skies with light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon or amihan, which will also affect the rest of Northern Luzon, according to GMA News.

Amihan will also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Ilocos Region.

Eastern Visayas, Caraga and the Davao Region  will face cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the easterlies. The bureau warned that flash floods or landslides may possibly occur during moderate to heavy rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will face partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms also due to the easterlies. Flash floods or landslides may possibly occur during severe thunderstorms.

Based on the report, coastal waters will face moderate to rough in Northern Luzon, with waves reaching up to 4 meters; while the rest of the country will face slight to moderate coastal waters.
