4 Men Presenting Fake COVID-19 Antigen Test Result Arrested in a Checkpoint
Four (4) men from Pampanga arrested at a checkpoint in Ilocos Norte after authorities found out their COVID-19 Antigen test results are fake.
Four (4) men were arrested in Badoc, Ilocos Norte after receiving fake antigen test results, according to a report in Unang Balita on Monday. The four are said to have come from Pampanga and going to Pasuquin to install aluminum glass.
Police at the checkpoint found that their test results were scanned and the documents did not have a stamped mark from the hospital. The four men are now in police custody. The detainees did not give a statement.

According to police data, at least 25 people were caught using fake antigen test results. Authorities intensify their search at checkpoints due to drug smuggling.
Police manning the checkpoint need to ask for important documents from the motorists to verify their true identity. Motorists who failed to present required documents at the checkpoint will be apprehended.
Meanwhile, several printing shops were forced to shut down due to falsification of the coronavirus test results, travel pass, Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) identification card, and other required documents in the checkpoint.
