Boy Abunda dissected the “my truth” video of Michele Gumabao
King of Talk Boy Abunda admitted that he began thinking if Miss Universe Philippines 2020 2nd runner-up Michele Gumabao was cheated.
In the recent episode of Tito Boy’s digital show on his YouTube channel, he dissected the statement of the beauty queen from Quezon City regarding the controversy that surrounded the MUP’s coronation night.
Michele has been accused of not accepting defeat as she was allegedly expecting that she will have the crown. That is why she released a vlog specifically addressing the issue that affected her family also.
Boy Abunda, a self-confessed Michele fan, said that he wanted to understand the side of the story of the beauty queen, based on the article from Philstar.
The TV host cited the words of Michele when she said, “I heard things that I wasn’t supposed to hear and it hurt I must admit. I went back to my room and I cried so hard.”
Tito Boy said that Michele did not elaborate on the detail about the things she heard as she also said, “so many people came to me and were hugging me, and a lot of tears were happening around, and so many questions of…Why? How? What?”
The King of Talk said that until now the “lies” that the beauty queen stated in her vlog are still unknown to the public. Boy Abunda admitted that due to this, he started thinking if Michele Gumabao was cheated during the pageant.
The TV host is hoping that the beauty queen will soon “have courage and to speak up in the midst of all these.”
“So, what is your story? What is your truth? What is your experience? We need to hear them from you. And it’s not just something that’s affecting her (but) it will affect the future of pageantry,” Tito Boy said.
He also assured Michele that she has his respect. However, Boy Abunda said that he has more questions than before after watching the video of Michele Gumabao. “At the end of your statement, I am more confused. At the end of your statement, I have more speculations,” he said.
