Man Who Threatened Using Fake Gun, Cohort Arrested In Quezon City
QUEZON CITY – Two men were recently arrested in Quezon City after one of them made a threat using his fake firearm.
According to a report from GMA News’ Balitambayan, the suspect used a fake gun to threaten the variety store owner, who refused to let the former purchase alcoholic beverage.
The suspect, identified as Alejandro Alfonso, as well as his cohort, identified as Nino Garulado, were arrested after police received a complaint on Thursday night.
Aside from the replica, police retrieved suspected drugs and one knife from the suspects.
The victim testified that Alfonso attempted to buy three bottles of beer but the former refused due to the lack of payment. Enraged, Alfonso pulled out the said fake gun and threatened to shoot her.
Alfonso claimed that he had an argue with the victim but denied the gun threat, adding that the replica came from his grandchild.
He also admitted that the illegal drug retrieved by authorities was his, based on the report. Garulado, on the other hand, denied the claim that he is the suspect’s accomplice.
The two were previously arrested for a case involving illegal drugs.
