Mobile Kumpisalan in Batanes Elicits Comments Online
The controversial photos of a mobile kumpisalan using a tricycle in Batanes goes viral after it was posted on social media.
The Catholic Church teaches their members about confession, which aims to make them confess their sins and wrongdoings to the priest. Most of them usually say “Bless me Father, for I have sinned. It has been [time period] since my last confession.”
After making the confession, the priest would recommend them to penitent and say some prayers for their sins.
The Facebook page “ABS-CBN News” has shared the photos of a mobile kumpisalan, which was held along the streets of Ivatan, Batanes. The photos garnered various reactions from the online community.
In the photos, it can be seen Fr. Zenki Manabat that the Church do its best to pursue the religious activity, which is considered as a big occasion for children, teenagers, adults, and parents.

The priest is visiting the houses in Ivatan, Batanes to conduct a mobile kumpisalan. The religious servant used a tricycle wherein the devotees would confess and ask forgiveness for their sins as well as seeking religious advice.
