Sariaya, Quezon’s Government Complex Lights Up for the Upcoming Christmas Season
The government complex of Sariaya town in Quezon lights up amid the COVID-19 pandemic to spread the spirit of Christmas.
On Wednesday evening (December 2, 2020), the government officials of Sariaya, Quezon light up the townâs government complex with colorful Christmas lights amid the health crisis. The city did not held programs in compliance with the health protocols.
The local government unitâs building has tunnel of lights, which amazed the viewers and the residents. The officials also erect a giant Christmas tree, which is 15-feet high. They have also displayed a life size Belen or âNativityâ made of recycled papers.
The residents enjoyed the Christmas decorations and take selfies at Cinderallaâs Carriage, which becomes the center of attention among young children. The kids are enjoying the lights and the wonderful scenery.
The LGU aims to bring fun and joy to the residents. The officials also assured that the health protocols and quarantine guidelines were observed in the area. The decorations would last until January 2021.
Sariaya LGU said that they did not spent even a single centavo to decorate the building. The town used the lights and decorations, which have been also used last year.
