Xiaomi Redmi 9 runs on the Android 10, MIUI 12 OS providing smooth operation of the device. It is powered by the Mediatek Helio G80 Octa-core processor while the graphics processing unit (GPU) is Mali-G52 MC2.

Xiaomi Redmi 9 comes in 6.53” size and the display is IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen that gives 1080 x 2340px resolution. A Corning Gorilla Glass protects the screen of the smartphone.
