Unclaimed Salary of Barangay Captain is Being Donated to Every Relief Operation

Nowadays, there are lots of corruptions going to local and national government agencies. Officials who are greedy for power and money, they will do anything even they have stomp on people’s rights.
However, it is gratifying to know that there are simple officers who do more than their duty and offered the best they can to their constituents. But more than serving his barangay is in the heart of the captain of the barrio of Baggao, Cagayan retired army S / master Sgt. Gilbert Respicio.

According to a letter by Reymar Desiderio of Radio DZCV Tuguegarao, he has not been getting his salary since he took office in 2018. When he asked the residents and research, he said that his accumulated wages go to the barangay hall, visitors, and the needs of the barangay.
The captain, a retired soldier, was truly unique. Baggao has 48 barangays and he is the only one like this. Kap has accumulated more than one hundred thousand salaries but it is all used in relief operations during the last typhoon Ulysses.
When he was a soldier, Respicio was the spokesperson for a radio program of a radio. When he retired, he entered politics and immediately won.
Kap Respicio’s honesty and kindness immediately went viral on social media after Reymar flaunts his great leadership. Netizens were amazed and wish if they could also have that kind of government official in their place.
