Senator Bato Dela Rosa Claims He Tests Positive for Coronavirus Disease

On Saturday (November 21, 2020), Senator Ronald Marapon dela Rosa announced on his personal Facebook account that he tested positive for coronavirus disease. The announcement garnered various reactions from the online community.
The former chief of the Philippine National Police is also urging everyone who made contact with him over the past few days to proceed with the appropriate protocols for the safety of everyone.
“I’m sorry to inform you that I tested positive for Covid19 yesterday. To all who made contact with me, please do the appropriate protocols,” dela Rosa said.
The 58-year-old politician is the fifth member of the upper chamber who tested positive for COVID-19 together with senators Bong Revilla, Sonny Angara, Koko Pimentel and Migs Zubiri.
