An Inmate in Leyte Jail Escaped After Asked to Fetch Water Outside
An inmate in the sub-provincial jail in Leyte intentionally escape after he was asked to fetch water outside of the jail.
In a report of Unang Balita on Thursday, a prisoner was asked to fetch some water outside of the jail because there was now water. According to Calbayog Police, Jerry Dealagdon and two others were ordered to be taken outside the jail facility.
After they went out, Jerry never came back. Jerry was charged with murder, attempted murder, and frustrated murder. The police appealed to the public to immediately provide the authorities with any information about Jerry.

Last month, a total of 15 inmates sneaked out of the temporary detention facility in Caloocan City police jail. Escapees were captured in a security camera carved a small hole in their detention cell.
Meanwhile, amidst the threat of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) around the world, a drug suspect made an unlikely escape from custody possible thanks to sneezing. According to reports, the suspect had shown symptoms of COVID-19.
