Coca-Cola Christmas Ad For 2020 Goes Viral
COCA-COLA – Beverage giant Coca-cola finally unveiled its new Christmas advert and it’s a real tearjerker.
On Monday, November 9, Coca-Cola released a two-and-a-half-minute commercial that’s directed by Oscar winner Taika Waititi. He is well known for his works on films such as “Thor: Ragnarok” and “Jojo Rabbit.”
The drinking giant’s Christmas ad left parents in floods of tears. The ad took a turn and became a movie, an odyssey.
The advert follows the story of a father working away on an oil rig. Coca-Cola went full-epic with this Christmas ad and made the father cross seven seas just so he could deliver his daughter’s letter to Santa Claus.
But when he finally makes it to Santa Claus’ house, he finds it ‘closed for Christmas.’ His daughter’s letter arrived too late. Then there’s headlights, a big red truck, then Santa Claus.
To top it all off, he found out that the only thing on his daughter’s Christmas list was him. He asked Santa to make his dad come home for Christmas.
