Food Business Owner Distributes Free Warm Meals to Typhoon-hit Residents
A food business owner cooked and distributed free hot food to the victims of typhoon Ulysses in Tuguegarao City, Cagayan.
In a GMA Public Affairs Facebook post, Joel Robueno, a food business owner, kindness still shine despite his business suffering from the coronavirus pandemic and the wrath of recent typhoons.
According to Rebueno, the son of business owner Joel, it was difficult for his father’s business to recover due to the pandemic, but this did not stop him from helping now in the event of a disaster.
“Business has been difficult because of the pandemic, but that never stopped him,” he said.

Rebeuno also called for people to donate to the victims if possible, including in-kind donations such as clothing. He also giver their business address where donations can be sent.
Clothes can be sent to Norte Restobar, located on Pengue Highway, Barangay Pengue Ruyu, Tuguegarao City. Lord is also accepting cash through GCash (09175464647) and BPI (2386129249).
Meanwhile, after the heavy floods caused by the super typhoon, Cagayan is suffering from severe flooding anew after Magat Dam releases excess water as it has reached the critical level. #CagayanNeedsHelp is now trending on social media platforms.
