Man Saves a Case of Beer Despite Strong Rain and Floodwaters Reaching His Neck
Video footage of a man saves a case of beer floats in a batya amidst the floodwaters reaching his neck goes viral on social media.
Several areas in the Philippines are experiencing heavy flooding now following the heavy downfall brought by Typhoon Ulysses shortly after the onslaught of Typhoon Rolly. Many of these areas have yet to recover from Typhoon Rolly.
On Thursday, November 12, 2020, Typhoon Ulysses left severe devastation and flooding in different areas. Heavy floods leave residents stranded on their roofs, while in other areas flood is almost reaching their necks.
Meanwhile, despite the Typhoon devastation, Filipinos still possessed the trait of being hilarious. In a Facebook post of Anthony Tony, he shared video footage where one of his friends headed out to deep floodwaters to buy beer.

In the video shown, the floodwaters caused by Typhoon Ulysses raise until the neck of a person. However, Anthony’s friends did not mind the deep flood and still went to a near store to buy a case of beer.
The man floats the case of beer inside the Batya while him swimming in the floodwaters. You can see the happiness on their face despite the calamity they are facing.
Meanwhile, another photo of a man holding two bottles of beer also earned various reactions. While other residents are panicking to save their valuable things, this man only saves his favorite drink.
