Actor-host Piolo Pascual was featured as a cover star of Vulkan, a US-based magazine and he talked about his acting stints.
It is no doubt that Piolo is one of the A-list artist in this generation. His versatility played a great role in his success in showbiz. He can do various roles on TV or on the big screen.
Aside from his various acting stints, he can also do hosting and singing in addition for being one of the good-looking hunk actors in the Philippines.
Piolo has added a feather in his cap as he was featured in Vulkan Magazine. Based on the article from The Philippine Star, the A-list star talked about his acting career as the cover star.
As an actor, Piolo Pascual said that he felt validated when he worked with award-winning stars Vilma Santos and Christopher de Leon in the movie Dekada 70. By doing the said Martial Law movie, he realized that he can actually utilize acting for a living.
“My thinking shifted and I thought maybe there was something for me here in this business. That was a milestone in my life that really changed the course of my life,” the Sunday Noontime Live host said.
He also shared that he was planning to have his retirement before he reaches 40. However, his movie Starting Over Again with Toni Gonzaga changed his initial plan.
That became a triggering point to boost his will to stay in the industry after feeing exhausted of his showbiz routine. “That would give me this much validation once again after twenty years. That’s why I’m still here,” the actor added.
Piolo Pascual also mentioned his upcoming film with Jasmine Curtis titled Real Life Vision. This is his first-ever English film.
“I thought I hit the glass ceiling in terms of characters I’ve portrayed. But I’m getting into this movie and into this role and there are still a lot of things I can work on or even study as a character,” the A-list star shared.
