This is how Jessy Mendiola responded to a body-shamer
Actress-host Jessy Mendiola reacted to a body-shamer who commented on her recent Instagram post that she looked like she already gave birth.
Jessy, as known to many showbiz fans, is one of the celebrities who has a “fitspiration” body. She would share her fitness routine and healthy diet on her social media account.
Aside from this, the girlfriend of TV host Luis Manzano is now hosting a lifestyle and fitness show on TV5 titled Fit For Life. However, despite her va va voom figure now, Jessy also went through a phase in which she is not so comfortable with her body.
Previously, she revealed that she had been called “pata queen” for being fat and she shared that she once received a “fat memo” from her home network.
However, now that she is a fitspiration to many, Jessy Mendiola still receives body-shaming. Based on the article from the Philippine Entertainment Portal, the actress-host received a harsh comment from a basher. The said netizen said, “Bat ganun ung tyan nya..parang nanganak na.”
Jessy showcased her new workout outfit which is a midriff top and shorts. She calmly replied to the body-shamer. “Naku sana nga ganyan itsura ng tyan ko kapag nanganak nako. (smiling face with smiling eyes emoji),” she wrote.
The fitness show host also used the hashtag “no to body-shaming”. Several fans of Jessy also fired back at the basher and defended her.
However, based on the article, there was one netizen who reasoned out that there was nothing wrong with the comment of the other netizen.
“Bat dami galit sa comment nya eh yan ang obserbasyon at paningin nya, malay natin d nya alam kung ano talaga ang hitsura ng nanganak at di nanganak,” the netizen replied and explained why there was nothing wrotng with that.
