Here’s what Lauren Young experienced during her guesting on Eat Bulaga
Actress Lauren Young shared her experience as a guest judge on Eat Bulaga‘s Bawal Judgmental segment.
Amid the quarantine period due to the COVID-19 pandemic, people in the showbiz industry had to adapt to the new normal. Live audiences are not allowed anymore in studios and almost everything is happening online and done digitally.
For TV series and movie, the trend now is doing the lock-in taping. While shooting, artists and the production staff are housed on the set so that precautionary health measures can be observed.
Although there are shows that are still done in studios, the changes are obvious. There are certain protocols that need to be followed, just like what Lauren Young experienced in her recent guesting on the longest-running noontime show in the Philippines.
Through her Instagram post, the actress documented her Bawal Judgmental stint. “Documented how my Tuesday morning-afternoon went! First time leaving the house for work since the pandemic,” she wrote in the caption of her post.
In the 7-minute video, Lauren shared that it was the first time she went out for work amid the pandemic. After the guesting, she remarked that things are really different now.
“My ‘Eat Bulaga’ guesting is done. We’re there for about an hour and a half, almost two hours, and it was very different ’cause there was no audience,” she said.
She also said that she misses the old times when she can still see and interact with her friends and the audience members. However, she understands that this is now part of the new normal and the protocol to keep everybody safe.
