Lauren Young: ‘No Network Wars Now, Just Justice’
LAUREN YOUNG – Lauren Young recently shared her thoughts regarding the ABS-CBN franchise on social media, saying that there are “No network wars now, just justice”.
Lauren posted a photo on Instagram. The photo contained her in her first ever photoshoot with ABS-CBN.
In her caption, she began by saying that ABS-CBN gave her a chance when she was 11 years old. She remembered walking into the audition and meeting with the late AJ Perez.
“I was 11 years old when ABS-CBN gave me a chance. I remember walking into the audition and meeting AJ for the first time, we talked for a bit (little did I know I was talking to my first and future loveteam) then I was called in to share my “talent”. I sang Sana by Nikki Gil from the Coke commercial during that time and did a cheerleading routine for my “dance” part 😅”
Lauren added that her dream she was fighting for in the big city would eventually came true as the network invested and trained her into who she is now, giving her gratitude to ABS-CBN.
“I was just a little girl from Subic Bay fighting for a dream in the big city- I hd no idea during that time that that said dream would eventually come true. ABS-CBN invested and trained me into the actress that I am today and opened the door to so many opportunities. I will forever be grateful to everything that was given to me because of this break and it breaks my heart to see thousands of employees suffer during this time.”
Lastly, she said that her heart is with the network, adding that it is important to use our voices to fight for what is right.
