A-list actor John Lloyd Cruz was spotted doing this in the street in Palawan and photos of him circulated online.
When Lloydie took a break from the entertainment industry, he has been spotted several times doing ordinary things on the street which is not quite usual for showbiz stars like him.
Somehow, the critically-acclaimed actor broke the star status stigma as he was seen unglamorous and just enjoying the company of ordinary people around him. He was seen buying fruits, eating “balut”, riding in a jeepney, and having his haircut for Php40.
For several times, John Lloyd Cruz was also seen just wearing a shirt, shorts, and slippers unlike his usual get-up when doing a movie or TV show.
Just recently, photos of the A-list actor were posted on his verified Facebook Page. Lloydie was spotted buying and eating street food in Palawan. He gladly posed for photos also with his fans.
Several netizens who commented on these photos of John Lloyd commended his simplicity behind his status in the Philippine entertainment industry.

Meanwhile, John Lloyd was supposed to have his showbiz comeback early this year. He already shot for the movie Servando Magdamag but there is no release date yet due to the pandemic.
He was also set to have an onscreen reunion with Bea Alonzo, his leading lady in One More Chance and A Second Chance. However, the current situation also delayed the shooting. Direk Cathy Garcia-Molina confirmed this project but there is no assurance yet if the same material will push through.
