Dubai PM Receives COVID-19 Vaccine Shot, Posts Update On Social Media
DUBAI PM GETS COVID-19 VACCINE SHOT – As the world continues to struggle dealing with the coronavirus pandemic, scientists race to produce a vaccine.
Currently, there are several vaccines on its third and final run of clinical trials. However, most experts believe that these vaccines would take up to early next year to mass produce.
Meanwhile, The Prime Minister and Vice President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid al-Maktoum already got a shot of the vaccine. To set an example for the people, the Prime Minister volunteered to get a shot.

In his official Twitter account, the Prime Minister wrote:
We wish everyone safety and great health, and we are proud of our teams who have worked relentlessly to make the vaccine available in the UAE
Back in June, the United Arab Emirates and China both launched phase 3 of clinical trials for China’s state-owned Sinopharm pharmaceutical company. According to an article from CNN, it was on June 31, when volunteers from the UAE took the vaccine.
On September, the UAE’s minister of health emphasized the effectivity and safety of the vaccine. As per the article, he said:
Studies show that the vaccine is efficient and safe and showed a positive response in generating antibodies
