Here’s an old photo of Megastar Sharon Cuneta showing what she does before her fame as an actress and singer.
SHARON CUNETA – Megastar and OPM icon Sharon Cuneta has shared a photo of her at a young age showing how generous she is by heart ever since.
Pablo Cuneta is the late father of Megastar Sharon Cuneta who served as the Mayor of Pasay for three terms between 1951 and 1998. This made him as the politician who served as mayor for the longest time in the Philippines. He is also the only mayor who served under seven (7) different presidents.
In random moments or interviews, the Megastar would always get emotional remembering her parent and how she missed the way they took care of her and loved her. Her father died at the age of 90 due to cardiac arrest while her mother Elaine Gamboa died because of internal bleeding and complications that emerged after abdominal surgery.
Now, with her father being a public servant, what she learned from him is to be generous and empathetic. In her post, she shared that a fan sent her a photo of her at a young age while giving out her own supplies to kids of her age. Accordingly, she would save a part of her allowance and got with her parents in their activities.
She would also have a long line of kids in front of her and give out candies to them. The Megastar added that the saying “It is better to give than to receive” is true but to her, what she believed in is it is better to give than be someone who asks.
“Ang dasal ko nga, huwag sana dumating ang araw na may nangangailangan talaga lalo kung mahal ko tapos wala akong maibigay,” she wrote. She also expressed her gratitude to them for teaching her those admirable traits. The old photo, as per her, was taken in Baguio City.
