Ivana Alawi Share Her Harassment Experience in an Event

Kapamily daring actress Ivana Alawi shares her harassment experience and stresses the importance of respect to individuals.

Nowadays, when it comes to the issue of women’s clothing, the opinion of every individual on this is on fire, there are some who do not agree with the dress that shows too much of a woman’s skin, because, for some, the woman’s body is sacred and should always be hidden.

But for some individuals and women, their opinion is different because according to them, no matter what a woman wears, they should still be given respect.

Just like Ivana Alawi, a very beautiful model, and exposing her porcelain skin and a very smooth complexion in her bikinis and daring dress. Ivana’s sudden popularity caused by her revealing clothes, which garnered more followers.

With that, she has never been exempted from “yakmans.” According to Ivana, she had an unpleasant experience of insulting her femininity which she experienced at model events several times.

When Ivana was interviewed by the Kapamilya News team, she was given some questions and the model answered them directly. One of these was when she was asked for her opinion regarding Women’s Rights and Welfare.

Here is Ivana’s statement, “I experienced it before when I was still working on events and I was just modeling.”

“I’ve experienced so many harassments. Not just catcalling. I’ve experienced people touching my body without permission. This is not right. Doon ako palagi sa tama.”

Ivana then emphasized the importance of giving respect to any woman regardless of her dress or gender.

“Respect people, kahit babae ‘yan, lalaki ‘yan. We need to be respected. No matter kung ano ‘yung suot, dapat niri-respeto mo,” she said.

“Especially mga babae, they deserve to be respected and they deserve to be loved. Women are very strong, women bring life to this world. Dapat niri-respeto sila.”
