Essay of Student Address To the Public Amid COVID-19 Pandemic
STUDENT ADDRESS – Here is an essay of the message of a student to the public in times of COVID-19 pandemic.
The COVID-19 pandemic has rocked several healthcare systems across the globe. More than 200 nations and territories have recorded cases of the coronavirus disease.
This disease was first recorded in China last December 2019. As the 2020 unfolded, several other countries outside China recorded cases of the disease.
Currently, there are over 40 million cases of COVID-19 recorded in the different countries and territories across the globe. More than one million people died of the said disease.
As a student, if I were to address the people in these times of pandemic, I greatly encourage everyone to pray and do your part. This pandemic is a huge challenge that can only be successfully surpassed with the guidance of the Above. We need to ask God to heal our land for none can do it without Him.
Also, as we pray, it is important to do our part as well. We cannot keep on praying but keep on going out as well even for non-essential purposes. We cannot keep on praying while not observing proper hygiene. We cannot keep on praying but not follow simple protocols and instructions from the authorities.
Even the World Health Organization (WHO) eyes that the COVID-19 pandemic is going to be a long-term battle. We must not let our guards down, cooperate with the authorities, and keep on strengthening our faith that this will soon end and we can embrace each other again.
