Bea Alonzo has this statement on being called a “queen”
Actress Bea Alonzo expressed that she does not want to be called a “queen” because of this reason.
Throughout the years of her career in the entertainment industry, Bea has proven that she deserves her own spotlight. With her various TV and movie projects, as well as her endorsements and now vlogging, she has shown her versatility and expertise.
It is inevitable that her fans would associate adjectives and moniker with her name because of what she has achieved and continue to be achieving. However, the actress stressed that the word “queen” does not fit to her, as it is what she believes.
Based on the article from Pilipino Star Ngayon, Bea Alonzo would rather be called a “soldier of the arts”.

“Cliché as it may sound, I never considered myself a queen. In our generation, there are a lot of queens. There is Angel Locsin, Toni (Gonzaga), Marian (Rivera), Anne (Curtis), Sarah (Geronimo), I never considered myself as one. I consider myself as a soldier of the arts,” she stressed.
Aside from the entertainment and joy that she gives to her audience, Bea is also giving back to the community through her I AM HOPE foundation. Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, she spearheaded donation events for the sick and less fortunate people, as well as giving food and other necessities to the frontliners.
“My social responsibility first is to get roles that will inspire people and to also do social work para din ma-inspire sila, Siyempre I have to do something to give back especially to those who I have worked with for so many years,” the actress shared about her charitable endeavors.
She added that she is also helping in creating projects to sustain the industry. Through this, Bea wants to show to everyone what they are capable of.
