Oil Firms Set to Implement Fuel Price Increase This Week
Several oil firms are set implement fuel price adjustments this week due to the movement of petroleum prices in the global market.
Nowadays, fuel is one of the most important substances in the world, which keeps the transportation and industry operating. The supply of goods and other services usually rely on petroleum products.
However, the adjustment in fuel prices usually affects the prices of basic commodities and other primary services.
Some oil companies in the Philippines announced an increase on prices of fuel products this week, which would surely affect the vehicle drivers and motorcycle riders. The price adjustment would start on Tuesday (October 6, 2020).
Seaoil would implement an increase of P0.10 per liter of gasoline and P0.20 per liter of kerosene. Shell and Petro Gazz would also impose a P0.10 increase per liter of gasoline while diesel’s price would remain the same.
She would implement a P0.20 increase per liter of kerosene. Unioil would also impose a P0.10 hike per liter of gasoline. Other oil companies are set to make announcements later today (October 5, 2020).
