Cassy Legaspi Recalls First Basher Experience
CASSY LEGASPI FIRST BASHER EXPERIENCE – Even at such a young age, Cassy Legaspi said she’s already had a run-in with bashers.
Now 19-Years-Old, Cassy shared her experience regarding her first encounter with hate comments. During her latest YouTube Vlog, Cassy recalled being 9-Years-Old when she first received a malicious comment.
“I’ve been getting hate since I was nine years old. I remember it so clearly“, Cassy Said. “There was this basher who was really saying mean things to me. I don’t want to spread negativity, but it was so bad that it made me cry almost every day.“, she added.
Clearly, being just nine-years-old and reading such hateful comments about yourself would definitely affect one’s mental. In Cassy’s case, she said that this one comment made her cry almost every day.
However, the Kapuso actress said she eventually grew out of it. She explained that as she grew older, she learned ways to manage her emotions. Now, before writing everything off as hate comments, Cassy thinks deeply about whether or not its constructive criticism or hate.
Because if it’s an educated criticism, I suggest you take it and you think about it. ‘Hmm, what should I improve on?’ or ‘Hmm, did I make a mistake doing this?’…
But if it’s just a hate comment like, ‘You’re so ugly. You’re so fat.’ Or something like that… brush it off. You don’t need that negative energy in your life.
Along with this, she also left a positive message to all of her fans saying that we’re not here to capture negativity. Instead, she emphasized that we’re here to “thrive, glow, and grow”.
