Marjorie Barretto has this statement against Jay Sonza
Former actress Marjorie Barretto shared her statement on the case that her daughter Julia Barretto filed against former journalist Jay Sonza.
This issue started when Sonza claimed that Julia is pregnant with the child of her rumored boyfriend Gerald Anderson. The camp of the young actress denied this and the actor also had an indirect denial of the said rumor.
However, Jay stood firm and even claimed that there was someone who admitted about this. Following this, Julia took a big leap against the negative write-up about her.
On Friday, she went to the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Cybercrime Division to take legal action against the former journalist. Julia said that she will not let this pass as she already swallowed several negative issues against her in the past.
“I think I just want to show people na hindi ko na pinapalampas yung mga bagay na ganito,” the young actress said.
Based on the Twitter post of ABS-CBN entertainment report MJ Felipe, the young actress was with her mother when she went to NBI. Marjorie Barretto said that Jay Sonza is being irresponsible when he posted about her daughter without verifying.
“Yung pagka-iresponsable mo lang Mr Sonza sobra eh, hindi ka man lang nagtanong sa mga malalapit sa buhay niya,” the former actress said.
She added that what Sonza posted on his Facebook account was all made-up and has no basis at all. The mother of five also stressed that the former journalist did not respect her daughter as a woman.
“Walang pinanggalingan yung sinasabi po ninyo. Ang pagkakaconfirm pa ninyo eh baboy yung style. Di niyo na nirespeto yung pagkababae niya at saka bata. Nakakasira kayo ng pagtratrabaho ng bata,” Marjorie Barretto said.
