Alex Gonzaga meets Gapan City Mayor Emeng Pascual
Actress-vlogger Alex Gonzaga gave “ayuda” to Mayor Emeng Pascual of Gapan City, Nueva Ejica and this happened after that.
Alex is one of the celebrity vloggers who have millions of subscribers on YouTube and she has already featured several prominent people in her vlogs such as Raffy Tulfo, Korina Sanchez, Dr. Willie and Dr. Liza Ong, and Mayor Isko Moreno.
In her recent Instagram post, she shared a video clip of her recent vlog. This featured Mayor Emeng Pascual who has caught the attention of Filipinos all over the country for his “ayuda” to his constituents amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
He was known for his “ulam for today” food distribution. Residents of Gapan has the right to choose what viand they will have for a certain day. It was also reported that he did a project that will give internet access to all students even in remote areas.
Alex Gonzaga was apparently excited to meet the mayor and she did a house tour vlog with him. She also said that she gave “ayuda” to the mayor. In the video teaser, the actress-vlogger gave a white plastic bag to Mayor Emeng.
However, after showing what are items inside the bag of “ayuda”, Alex said that the mayor should return it because it is just props. The Mayor said, that Alex should at least give him the “chichiria” and the vlogger handed it to him and said, “sa five pesos magkakaaway pa tayo.”
As usual, this received a funny reaction from Luis Manzano, one of the closest “kaasaran” of Alex on social media. “Sigurado nawalan ng gamit si Mayor… nasa mukha mong akyat bahay ka e,” the actor-host said.
