Kind-Hearted Frontliner Helps Exhausted Cyclist Traveling for 10 Days Just To Go Home in Samar
An exhausted cyclist who came from ParaƱaque heading to Eastern Samar using a bike cried after receiving food from a kind frontliner.
The Facebook page āNews5ā has shared the photos of an exhausted cyclist named Peter Roncales who is heading to Eastern Samar using a bike. The post garnered various reactions from the online community.
A netizen named Christian Evardone who is working as a frontliner saw the 19-year-old guy seems to be tired and exhausted at a checkpoint in the border of Taft, Eastern Samar all the way from ParaƱaque.
Evardone discovered that Roncales is already cycling for 10 days just to reach home because he had no money to pay the transportation fare. The young man lost his job and had no shelter in Metro Manila due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Christian give food and drink to Peter and contacted the municipality to bring the poor cyclist to his home.
āNaawa ako, naiyak na lang siya, pagod na pagod siya nang dumating sa checkpoint at basa dahil sa ulan kagabi,” Evardone said.
