The ‘white sand’ project in Manila Bay cost PHP389 million. DENR’s makeover project drew criticism from environmental groups, geohazards, and marine science experts. Vice President Leni Robredo said the project is an ‘insensitive’ move of the government because the country is still battling the COVID-19 pandemic.
In a previous article, Manila Mayor Isko Moreno insisted that dolomite is not hazardous to health.
