WWF-PH Teams Up W/ KC Concepcion To Promote Sustainable Cooking

KC CONCEPCION – World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) Philippines team up with actress KC Concepcion to promote sustainable cooking through her online show.

Amid the coronavirus pandemic, Megastar Sharon Cuneta’s daughter KC Concepcion decided to create a video series on her Youtube Channel. She called it “Kitchen Collabs.”

Last June, she cooked seafood curry with the ‘Queen of Teleseryes’ Judy Ann Santos. Lots of netizens enjoyed watching her cookout with the prominent actress.

KC Concepcion’s cooking show is now on its second season. She teams up with the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) Philippines to promote sustainable consumption and production.

The 35-year-old actress and jewelry designer is the newest addition to the organization’s “Kawali-Kasan: A Sustainable Home Cooking Series.” KC said she’s excited to use her platform to support local producers, promote mindful consumption, and help raise funds for WWF’s projects.

“During these challenging times na may pandemic, we just want to make sure that we support those who work tirelessly for us. Frontliner din natin ang mga farmers na Pinoy dahil sila ang nagpro-provide sa atin ng ating mga vegetables, ang ating mga pagkain. Also, when you donate, we will be helping 100 Filipino kids learn more about the environment and how to protect the planet,” KC said in a statement released by WWF.

In one of her Youtube series for WWF, KC Concepcion and her fellow celebrity Karla Estrada virtually teach netizens together how to cook “pinakbet.” The actress-entrepreneur will hold more “Kitchen Collabs” episodes for Kawali-Kasan until October.
