Actress Coleen Garcia shares the story of her baby’s name Amari.
COLEEN GARCIA – ABS-CBN actress and host Coleen Garcia gives birth to baby Amari, her first baby, and here’s the story behind his name.
In a previous article, Kapamilya actress and host Coleen Garcia shared a good news on September 10, 2020. She finally gave birth to her first baby with husband Billy Crawford and they named him Amari. She naturally delivered their first child through water birth in their home in Quezon City.
She accordingly gave birth at exactly 6:33 a.m. with the help of a doula, a nurse, and a midwife. The nursery room for the baby is almost ready. The first time mother expressed in a post overwhelmed with all the feelings, “There’s so much I wanna say, but for now, I just want to praise God for being so so good. Thank you, Lord, for our beautiful Amari.”
Sharing the story behind his name, it was accordingly her husband’s idea as it only came to his mind. Upon searching the meaning behind it, they thought it’s perfect as it means “strength and eternal”. She shared, “He says it just popped in his mind, and when he searched it, he saw that it means ‘promised by God,’ and as we shared in one of our vlogs, that is definitely the story of this baby and this pregnancy, so it’s perfect.”
Furthermore, with her home birth story, she shared that to have a peaceful birth is the main reason why she chose to do it at their home. Luckily, she has a low risk pregnancy with her baby showing all the good signs which made her able to do it. She just thought that she wouldn’t be comfortable giving birth in hospital.
