Paolo Contis Says he’s Doing His Very Own #BalikAlindog Program “Lockdown Edition”
PAOLO CONTIS – GMA-7 actor Paolo Contis talked about his very own #BalikAlindog program – “lockdown edition.”
Filipino-Italian actor Paolo Contis was first known for his childhood appearances on ABS-CBN’s variety show “Ang TV.” He also rose to fame for his appearance in the tv show “Tabing Ilog.” He transferred to GMA network in 2004.
As of 2020, Paolo’s girlfriend is actress LJ Reyes. They welcomed their daughter Summer Ayanna Contis on January 4, 2019.
Paolo Contis and Alessandra de Rossi’s movie “Through Night and Day” became one of the most trending Pinoy movies released on Netflix. Paolo said he felt “panghihinayang” for their movie because he hoped more people have watched it on the big screen.

In an interview with Inquirer, Paolo Contis revealed he’s doing his very own #BalikAlindog Program – “lockdown edition.” He said the stress of life and lack of activities under quarantine pushed him to lose some weight.
“I go on a diet only when I have work. But I had been taking it easy during lockdown. Not only was I eating a lot, I also wasn’t moving much. Namanas ang paa ko! I was getting winded quite easily,” he said.
According to the report, Paolo Contis also shared that he constantly checks if his sense of smell and taste diminished. “I kept on eating just to make sure,” he said.
The Kapuso actor said they have started location taping for another project so he needs to start losing some weight. He also admitted that he had a hard time tying his shoelaces.
“I recently got into juicing. I do it six days a week with a one-day break. And I’m happy with it. Now, I find that even though it’s my cheat day, I no longer have the urge to eat so much. I have also been jogging around our village.”
“Hirap na ako magtali ng sapatos!” he added.
Based on the report, Paolo Contis said he’s not exactly that conscious about his weight. He said he just want to look presentable for the viewers. His partner LJ Reyes also made sure to push him whenever he’s slacking off.
“She leads a more active lifestyle. Iba rin mag-exercise ‘yun. One time, she asked me to bring her a gallon of water. And she used it to work out. Nahiya ako!… I’m a couch potato, so she really has to push me. And I’m thankful for that,” Paolo said.
In a previous article, Paolo Contis shared his reaction to the “Pandemic Superstar” tag. He said he’s not the type of person who “nagpi-feeling sikat.” He admitted that their praise brings joy to him but it does not mean he will let the success enter his head.
