Paolo Contis is now being tagged as “Pandemic Superstar”
Kapuso actor Paolo Contis shared his reactions after he earned the tag “Pandemic Superstar” because of the success of his two movies on Netflix.
Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Paolo was able to find a positive thing. His two movies were streamed on the popular streaming service and this garnered positive feedback from viewers.
His movie Ang Pangarap Kong Holdap with Pepe Herrera, Jerald Napoles, and Jelson Bay became the most-viewed for several days as well as his movie Through Night and Day with Alessandra de Rossi.
Based on the article from Bandera, Paolo was asked what he feels being tagged now as “Pandemic Superstar”.
“Wala naman. Ever since naman ‘pag gumawa ka ng trabaho, gusto mo mapanood ‘yun ng tao, di ba? Na-late lang ‘yung akin. Two years lang na-late,” the Kapuso actor said.

He added that he is really happy that more people had the chance to watch his movies even if the original release was two years ago. That made hom feel that he had done his job.
Paolo Contis also said that he is not the type of person who “nagpi-feeling sikat”, especially after an achievement. However, he admitted that people’s appreciation of his works brings joy to him but this does not mean that he will let the success enter his head.
“Ayoko naman i-sekreto, hindi naman siya private movie. Happy lang ako na napanood siya, at siyempre may mga nakapansin. Kung meron man dumating after niyan, ang goal mo lang diyan ay makapagtrabaho para sa pamilya more than anything else,” he stressed.
Paolo Contis also caught the admiration of many due to the videos he shares with her adorable and smart daughter Summer with partner LJ Reyes.
