Every day, there are several unfortunate incidents recorded in the different areas in the Philippines. Most of these are under investigation and the probe may be quit challenging most especially when there are no CCTV cameras in the area where it happened.
This morning, in San Juan, the people residing in Barangay Onse were awakened from their sleep by a blaring horn coming from a vehicle. It was from a burning car.
Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the San Juan residents were frightened that the incident may result in a blast so they tried to put it down through dousing water from the hoses.
The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) came to respond to the incident and the fire was extinguished. Based on the report, the vehicle is owned by Lady Jane de Paula, a contractor.
The car owner and the authorities found something unusual in the situation of the vehicle. It has moved a few meters away from the area where it was originally parked and it hit an electric post.
According to de Paula, shards of glass were located in the area where her car was originally parked. Based on the report, the CCTV camera of the car owner was not pointing to the said area so they will still ask from their neighbors if their camera were able to tape the incident.
The car owner expressed that the vehicle was with them for a long time already and was well-maintained. According to her, the only problem with the car is that when heavy rainfall takes place, its alarm may go off. The night before the incident happened, there were heavy rains and loud thunder in San Juan.
