Oil Firms To Impose Price Rollback on Prices of Petroleum Products This Week

Several oil firms are set to impose price rollback on the prices of petroleum products starting September 8, 2020.

A lot of Filipino people are now struggling due to the increasing prices of basic commodities and other products. The changes in the prices of grocery items are mostly cause by the increase of ingredients and oil prices.

Oil price hike usually contributes to the burden of Filipino people but the price rollback causes relief to the drivers and motorists.

On Tuesday (September 7, 2020), some oil companies in the Philippines announced that they will implement a price reduction on prices of petroleum products. The cut of prices of oil products would surely give a relief to both motorists and passengers.

Shell would cut the price of Gasoline by P0.30 per liter, P0.55 per liter of Kerosene, and P0.45 per liter of Diesel. Seaoil would also implement the same price adjusts while Petro Gazz will do the same except for the price of Kerosene.

Meanwhile, Unioil Philippines would also cut the prices of Diesel by P0.40 to P0.50 per liter and P0.30 to P0.40 per liter of Gasoline.

The price adjustment this week was due to the slump in demand of petroleum products.
