Typhoon Kristine Latest Weather Update Released by PAGASA
LATEST WEATHER UPDATE – The state weather bureau PAGASA released the latest update about Typhoon Kristine and current weather condition.
On Saturday (September 5, 2020), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather updates in the country. Typhoon Kristine unlikely to affect the country’s weather condition.
PAGASA reported that Typhoon Kristine would not affect any part of the Philippines. However, the localized thunderstorms and the southwest monsoon would continue to affect the weather.
The weather agency reported that the typhoon was last spotted 1,135 kilometers east northeast of extreme northern Luzon with maximum sustained winds of 195 kilometers per hour and gustiness of 240 kph. Kristimne is moving 20 kph at a northwestward direction.
The localized thunderstorms would bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers is expected over the provinces of Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Nueva Vizcaya, Quirino, Aurora, Benguet, Abra, Apayao, Kalinga, Ifugao, Mt. Province, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union and Pangasinan.
Metro Manila and the remaining parts of the country are also expected to experience the same weather condition.
Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over the northern and eastern section of northern Luzon would be moderate to rough. The remaining parts of Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao would have slight to moderate surrounding sea condition.
