Although construction activities were delayed due to the pandemic, they are now chasing the target. Based on the report of RMN, the full operation of the first underground mass transport system in the Philippines called the “Project of the Century” will be in 2024 or 2025.

When the project is completed, the flight from Valenzuela to Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 will only take up to 45 minutes. The first subway and other railway projects are part of the government’s infrastructure development, said President Duterte earlier.
