Famous Filipino street foods in the Philippines such as kwek-kwek and fishball have also take a big hit to the residents of New York City.

Lot of New York City residents visit the “So Sarap NYC” which is a pop-up food stall to taste authentic Filipino street foods just like commonly seen and bought on the streets of the Philippines.

In a pop-up food event launched by Pinoys abroad, there is no shortage of people queuing up to taste the street foods in the Philippines. This includes kwek-kwek, adidas, isaw, helmet, Betamax, Walkman, fishballs, kikiam dipped in four kinds of Filipino sauces, and mixture.

The faces of Filipinos in New York are evident in the pleasure of tasting these kinds of foods once again. This has restored the memories of their youth days and when they still in the Philippines – which in turn the mission of So Sarap NYC becomes successful.

According to the video, the So Sarap NYC is owned by a Filipino family and a non-Filipino friend. Mang Virgilio Navarro, the father of the Pinoy owner, who was a street vendor in San Carlos, Pangasinan, who mixed the sauces.
