Teacher Apologize Online after She Posted Edited Photo of Duterte in Jolo

The teacher who posted an edited photo of President Rodrigo Duterte kissing the ground in Jolo, Sulu blast site apologize online after criticisms received.

A netizen named Laarni Villaluz, an alleged hater of Duterte’s administration previously earned thousands of criticisms online after posting an edited photo of the president during his visit to Jolo, Sulu blast site.

According to the previous article, Duterte kissed the ground of the blast site, which killed dozens of people from the twin blast. He pays respect and kissed the ground since the victims weren’t able to pray to Allah or talk to God before the incident.

Meanwhile, lots of netizens have reacted to the photo of Duterte, However, there is a netizen who disrespects the photo and edit it to become a funny meme.

She edited the photo and put a bowl of dog food towards Mr. Duterte’s face, considering it as the pack cover of a dog food brand. Laarni reaps hate comments from the online community after posting the edited photo of the president.

After receiving criticisms online, Laarni posted an apology statement on her Facebook account. In her post, she apologized to her family, workmates, and friends who got affected by her post.

She admitted that the edited photo was disrespectful. Laarni also addressed the Department of Education (DepEd) community for what she has posted.

The teacher then pleads to netizens not to criticize her family, friends, and her workplace. She also revealed that she couldn’t access her original Facebook account anymore.
