SHARON CUNETA – OPM icon and Megastar Sharon Cuneta opens up about selling properties due to lack of projects during the pandemic.
Among the wealthiest personalities in the country is Sharon Cuneta. She comes next to Manny Pacquiao as a billionaire and with the success of her career, this is no wonder why she is on top. Up until now, it seems like her career is still on its peak considering how in-demand her talent is still.
However, due to pandemic and the close down of her network, ABS-CBN, projects come so seldom to her which resulted to her selling her properties. She admitted this in her recent video blog. The Megastar shared that she has this habit of buying and owning possessions to which, through time, the value increases.
To purchase real estates and house and lots is something that she learned from her father. And for having no work for eight (8) months, this habit of her has surely helped her to get through “tough times”. For the last months, she lost several projects such as movies, concerts, and corporate shows.
Before 2019 ended, she was able to sell one property. She said, “Pero sa awa ng Diyos, I was able to sell real estate just before last year ended and that is why I’m okay and nakakatulong. And I’m selling properties.”
Aside from that, she also invest her money in buying watches and pieces of jewelry which also appreciate in value through the years unlike collecting expensive cars because these models depreciate. She added that she loves money but not to the point that it can rule her. It will accordingly never happen that the money will become her master.
