Cavite Governor Asks Compassion for 2 Officials Caught Having Their Intimate Moment During Zoom Meeting
Cavite Governor Jonvic Remulla asked for compassion towards the officials who were caught having their private moment during Zoom meeting.
Brgy. Fatima 2, chairman Jesus Estil of Dasmariñas City, Cavite, and its lady treasurer becomes the headlines of various local news outlets and social media pages because of their indecent act.
The two barangay officials have been caught having their intimate moment during an online meeting via Zoom. The video of the spread like a wildfire online and received a massive amount of criticisms online.
The barangay chairman and the treasurer reportedly resigned due to the incident but the video continue to spread on social media.
Interior Secretary Eduardo Año said that the two may still face charges despite quitting their posts since the act happened while they were in the position. DILG Undersecretary and spokesperson Jonathan Malaya said that the agency has yet to receive the resignation letter of the two.

Cavite Governor Jonvic Remulla said that they will not tolerate the action of the barangay officials and no need to probe since the two have resigned. However, he asked for compassion towards Estil and the treasurer.
“They are inexcusable and ignorant, What I am asking for, is a little compassion. I am sure the families involved are wounded and hurting deeply. Dala nila ang kahihiyan na ito habang buhay. The humiliation alone is enough punishment for those involved,” Remulla said.
