Kate Winslet, Saoirse Ronan Fall In Love In 1st Trailer for Romantic Drama ‘Ammonite’
AMMONITE – Kate Winslet and Saoirse Ronan fall in love while hunting for fossils in the first trailer for romantic drama ‘Ammonite.’
English actress Kate Winslet is one of the leading actresses in her generation. This talented woman has 7 Oscar nominations and won one Academy Award.
The 44-year-old actress and Irish-American actress Saoirse Ronan stars in the upcoming romantic drama titled “Ammonite.” The film is about forbidden love and fossils.
The title of the movie was named after an extinct fossil “Ammonite.” The LGBTQ+ movie centers on the blossoming relationship between Mary Anning (Kate Winslet) and Charlotte Murchison (Saoirse Ronan).
Murchison talks up an apprenticeship under Anning, a renowned paleontologist. The first official trailer for their movie has arrived.

The first Ammonite trailer opens with a montage of Anning searching for fossils and cleaning them before Murchison and her husband pay her a visit. The husband, played by James McArdle said his wife suffers from melancholia.
“My wife, she hasn’t been at all well of late… She suffers from melancholia. I want her to walk the shoreline with you, learn from you,” he said.
Mary Anning told Charlotte Murchinson’s husband that she’s not looking for an apprentice but she changed her mind when he offered a handsome payment. The two then work along the shoreline.
As the video moves forward, Murchinson becomes more and more fascinated by the “beautiful” work that they do. They eventually engage in a kiss. “I don’t want to go back to the life I had before you,” said Charlotte.
Anning responds: “What about my life?”
