Kind Man Gives Food, Tablet, and Money to a Boy Selling Rags Amid Pandemic

Kind man from foreign country gives free food, tablet, and money to a poor boy who is selling rags in the street despite the danger of COVID-19.

The foreign national from Syria, Basel Manadil has been closed the heart of the Filipinos. Well-known Philippine-based Syrian vlogger recently featured the poor boy he saw on the street selling rags.

In his recent vlog, while he was on his way home, Basel Manadil was approached by a boy selling rags. Instead of going home immediately because he still had a meeting, Basel stopped to buy food from the young salesman who introduced himself as Nathaniel.

While eating on the side of the road Basel accompanied Nathaniel and ask about his life. According to Nathaniel, he is 12 years old and their family’s main livelihood is selling rags made by his mother.

Apart from him, his other siblings also sell on the street. They sell in rags for just twenty pesos for three pieces. While drinking water, the vlogger noticed that Nathaniel had something on his teeth.

Basel said he would give the child money to see a dentist. But not only food and money but also dentists provided the help of the Syrian vlogger.

Aside from the food Basel gave to the young salesman, he also gave him a tablet to use for the upcoming online class. The Syrian vlogger also gave the boy’s mother money to start a small business in order to stop selling rags on the street.

Basel later bought the child’s rags and he was adorned with its designs. The Syrian vlogger told him to go home immediately because of the gadget and money.
