The 43-year-old actor recently made rounds on social media after he shared a photo of himself driving a tricycle. He said that his viral photo aims to underscore that there is nothing wrong about being a tricycle driver. It is a noble job and they deserve respect.
In an interview with PEP, Eric Fructuoso admitted that he was “pasaway” or stubborn since his very young age but his parent raised him to become a God-fearing man. He said God helped him overcome all the obstacles in his life.
Ang dami kong pinagdaanan, naging mag-isa ako, I was trying to figure out what to do with my life,” he shared.

“Sabi niya sa akin, ‘Brother, kung anuman yung binabalak mong gawin, huwag mong gawin. Kasi kinausap ako ng Diyos na meron ka yatang hindi maganda na nararamdaman kaya kailangan kitang tawagan,’” he said.
After that, Eric’s views on life changed. He said he became a better person and decided to surrounded himself with good people.
I am the same person.
“It’s just that I’m trying my best to avoid mistakes.
