Vietnamese National Arrested After Harassing Lady Vendor in Manila
SAMPALOC, MANILA – A Vietnamese national has been arrested for allegedly punching and harassing a female vendor.
On Monday (August 17, 2020), a market vendor identified as Haydee Bagoncia has been reportedly harassed by a Vietnamese national. The foreigner has been arrested because of his violence with the help of some residents.
Bagoncia said that the Vietnamese man is lending money to the vendors at the market. However, he failed to collect the payment from the vendors after Metro Manila has been placed under modified enhanced community quarantine.

The lady vendor narrated that the drunk foreigner arrived at the market asking her to pay her debt. Haydee explained that she had already paid her debt and advised him to bring the records to clarify everything.
Unfortunately, the unidentified foreigner got mad and suddenly punched Bagoncia on her shoulder and back. The lady tried to escape but the Vietnamese man chased her.

With the help of other vendors and shoppers at the market, the suspect stopped and was brought to the nearest police stations. Currently, the culprit is now under the custody of the Manila Police District.
